Brandi George | Poetry
–rosasite & hemimorphite
of copper oxide
zinc disrobes for the golden
light beneath the oak tree scraps
of otherworldly remnants falling
each leaf contains symbols claw-
letters blue & orange at the edges
the shimmer of life among death
silicates whip familiar tongues of fire
black orange turquoise gray & white
shimmer under A A A sharp B
rhythm of flute-helices tetrahedral voids
shadows knotting into themselves
this one calls to us demands attention
magnetic attraction silk
asking to be unraveled crystal
song ore song electric wolf howling
